What's up with Toyota White?

i had a Toyota Corolla to wash and wax. but the paint looks really chalky and does not shine that good even after i applied a nice coat of wax
how do i bring a chalky white Corolla back to life for the lady to trade in.

i think i heard that Toyota doesn't clear coat there white vehicles sound stupid to me is this true they really need to start because i would definitely turn away from a new white Toyota if that was the last car available to buy

came out alright but not as good as most vehicles

Needs to be Compound / polish to bring it back. My wife's 03 Matrix is the same. I have to do this once a year due it's park outside most of the time and it's a SS paint. The Florida sun loves it so much...........

this should be done with a DA if I'm correct to being it back completely right

They are Single Stage paints on those. Yea a DA at least as doing it by hand is back breaking work.

what pads are needed with the DA

You can use the Lake Country CCS Dual Action 5.5 Inch Foam Pads in Orange, White and Black or Lake Country Hydro-Tech Low Profile 5 1/2 x 7/8 Inch Foam Pads in Cyan and Tangerine. Just make sure you get a 5 inch backing plate for a DA for these.

If the paint is that chalky don't bother with the clay as your going to just load it up with oxidized paint.

Take up zoomzoom mazda 5 on his offer. Probably the best tip so far
