:D I was a lucky dog when i won the winter car care giveaway-over $106.00 in goodies: 5 gallon autopia bucket/grit guard/gamma seal lid
DP Poli-Coat paint sealant
DP rinseless wash & gloss
DP Final Gloss quick detailer
Cobra guzzler waffle weave drying towel
(3) Cobra Deluxe Jr. 600 microfiber towels
Lake Country foam wash sponge

I used most of the items when i detailed a good friend's 2004 Infiniti FX35 today. it's a DD that was pretty badly swirled, in bright sunlight, but the silver paint made it difficult to see otherwise. (I'm afraid my pics could not show this very well) I decided to give it a foam bath, a two bucket wash, claying,a blackfire gloss enhancing polish, and a last step of Detailer's Pro Series DP Poli-Coat paint sealant.
For the foam bath and wash i used Eimann Fabrik auto spa gentle shampoo.
i added 2 oz of the Detailer's Pro series rinseless wash & gloss to the wash water as a conditioner. it really helped float the grime away and leave a slick finish. I used the Lake Country foam wash sponge and really liked it.
it has many square cuts in it to help keep dirt and grime way from the paint during the wash. i plan on getting more. The Cobra Guzzler waffle weave drying towel worked great and dried the entire vehicle.
After taping off the vehicle trim, i clayed the paint surface with GG yellow clay and megs last touch spray detailer cut 50% as a lube. It did a great job at cleaning and smoothing out the surface.
I used my GG 6" DA with an orange pad to apply the Blackfire Gloss enhancing polish and it did an amazing job at cleaning up the finish and filling in the numerous swirls. (again i'm sorry the pic quality doesn't really show this) It's good not to let the polish dry too long on the surface to make removal a breeze.
As a last step i used the Detailer's Pro DP Poli-Coat paint sealant applied using a red pad and my GG 6" Da. very easy on & easy off and left a slick gloss finish. The sealant is supposed to be a bonding agent and sealant all in one and a anti static formula that resists alkaline and acidic cleaners.
I used the Cobra Deluxe Jr 600 microfiber towels and they were great-twice as thick as my current microfiber towels and very soft!
When finished the vehicle looked good and my friends were very happy.
My thanks again to Autopia Car Care for all the great goodies- Sweeet !

You got a lot of nice stuff there. The Infinity turned out great. Nice job and congratulations

The Detailer's Pro series rinseless wash & gloss has been getting a lot of good press lately. I have been using ONR but may have to give this a try when it's time to reorder.

Thanks for the review Steve. Congrats on the win, if there is one thing we love more than seeing our awesome forum members get rewarded with free stuff is to hear your honest opinion on them. :rockon

Steve, you lucky Dawg you! :bigups

A tremendous haul if I do say so and a nice writeup along with some great photos!

No you didn't miss a chance for another review you still have the product and surely have another friend that would love to have you clean up their car. There never seems to be a shortage of them.

Congrats on the win Steve. the car turned out great.

Did the DP Poli-Coat seem to remove any of the BF GEP? I thought that the "bonding Agents" in Poli-Coat had some cleaning ability as well.

no, i don't think it did. the hood was pretty swirled up to start with and when i finished using the BF GEP, they were no longer visible. maybe the orange pad cut them down a little, but i think it was the cleaning and filling ability of the BF GEP. after topping it off with the DP Poli-Coat, the swirls were still not visible. the DP Poli-Coat laid down a pretty slick gloss too.
