the customer ran over something but i cant put my finger on it. to clean inside the wheel wells i used degreaser at full strength with some brushes & that worked well.
clay removed it from the rims. to make things worse, i had to be extra carefull removing the stuff form the side of the car because there were parts that had some clear wrap material. the stuff was thick & raised on the paint. i did first try some lq thinner but decided it was best to use up a few pieces of clay instead. what a frustrating mess!

i saved the front bumper for the end because i dont enjoy polishing clear bra material. i spent a good amount of time taping it up.
taping is easy & fun to me. its the soft material that i dont enjoy working with!

Nice job. Looks much better. Do you k ow what he ran over? In the fender wells it looks like dirt but on the wheels and paint it looks different

There they are. Nice work Andrew, looks great.

How do you measure 85% removal?

Simple. Tape off a 1'x1' area, then count all the individual swirls. Multiply that by 0.15 and you have the acceptable number of remaining swirls to get desired correction. Polish until only that number of swirls are present.Repeat throughout the car.:inspector:
