#1 detailing forum is...

Nth Degree

New member
As a member of TID I was uncertain of where to turn to find the quality and universal respect I had become accustomed to. In light of some of the recent threads on another forum I frequent (resulting in members being voted off the island) I would just like to say I am glad to find the same level of professionalism and support here as I did on TID. :autopia:

Yeah. Highly entertaining, but gets a little out of hand. I won't claim to be an innocent bystander, though. I go by "Nth Degree" there.:D The last one just got way off the topic of detailing.

That's the thing about some online forums, some think they are know-it-all's and others use it to spew crap on others in order to make themselves feel better.:D

I see this all the time on a couple motorcycle forums Im on. While there are some very dumb questions that are asked on there, the way the senior members react is less than professional to say the least. Its really a shame but I know they've answered the same question a thousand times and get tired of it. I've always been impressed with this forum and the self control of its members :)

it trickles down him from the days of DC, the forum was run very well and was a pleasure to post on.:D

There has sure been a ton of changes here at Autopia. I guess they reloaded everything. I have to reload all my profile stuff also. I am glad they finally got their SH-- together. Folks here are pretty nice. For the most part. "Paintxpert" PS few "know it alls" you know the score.

I have always been open to changes....especially if they a positive. I am certain someone put a lot of hours into this site. The site itself is very respected with GREAT SEO. I dont do any ads for my business..... thats right ZERO PAID advertising so this works great for me.

Autopia Forums is the new! .org was the old. I get it..... OK .org was not so good? Is that it? I guess everything is a learning process......such as high speed paint correction. I look forward to enjoying the forum!

They're both very worthwhile forums to me. Just when I thought I had enough for a few years there, they just pull me back in!

No. Not at all! AutopiaForums has never been. org. This place was DetailCity.org before it was reorganized by PBMG and renamed AutopiaForums.com

Autopia.org is a separate entity that still exists. Don't let the similar names confuse you. :D

Hey, I never realized that was you! Fellow NC'er, right?

Don't get me wrong. There is good info there also. But nobody breaks down the science the way Todd does.:yourrock Don't recall if it was him that did the weekend in VA about 2 years ago, but I would love to see something like that happen again. I was sorry I missed it. I would love to actually see him at work.:bow How 'bout it Todd? Check for interest in the Carolina area? All interested in a weekend seminar chime in.

Thanks to those who enjoy coming here. Each forum has its own attitude and direction and while this is set by the owners and employees it is ultimately the forum members who carry it in its direction. This forum has not only remained friendly but has been a place for like minded individuals to share information respectfully.
