With what frequency do you wash your own car?

Spring, Summer, Fall

Once a week seems right and I've rarely ever washed it twice within the same week unless it's gotten excessively dirty...

Winter

During the winter months I wash it as often as the weather permits...

For the daily driver: Once every week to two weeks or so unless it rains, then once after every rain.

For the garage queens: About twice a year +/- or if a haze/film is present on the finish

I can't stand to drive in a dirty car. It ticks me off in the winter because it's so hard to wash it where I live without a garage with a drain. It gets too cold.

I like to keep the paint shiny and slippery, gives me better gas mileage. :rockon

I think mine feels faster when it's clean. Dirt must weigh a lot


When I worked at my old location I was able to wash my car 2 or 3 times a week. I had better hours back then. Everyone use to ask if my car ever got dirty and people would say I was going to wash the paint off at some point

The next poll to keep it in progression would be if you use a detail spray as either a drying aid or gloss enhancer.

From March to December when it's dirty with a minimum of once a week. In the other months it's hard because of the cold here. I just bought some DP rinseless so hopefully that will help for the winter months.

I keep my van spotless and wipe the tops down everyday . The rest every other day .The wheels and tires once a week.

Dont ask me how often I clean my house!
