Hey DC...discussions on any detailing product are allowed on this forum. It is one of our goals to make this forum as open of a discussion forum on detailing as possible.

I will let Todd comment on his plans for the forum direction.

The very reason I frequent this site over all others.

Open discussion leads to overall better understanding of the industry trends as well as a better wealth of knowledge on a broad range of topics/products/etc

Id also like to hear what Todd might have in store for the forum and how we might be able to help accomplish those goals.
 
Can you tell me what your goals and plans are for this forum when you have time ? And are we able to talk about any product here?

I have no idea what the goals for the forum are. A forum is for the people, so it would be better to ask the members to be honest. I like an atmosphere of open information sharing and discussion, but that's as much thought as I have given that.

However Pat is 100% correct. There is not really any limitation on product brand discussion, but shilling or other dishonest behavior will not be allowed.

I cant remember where I read it on here or who said it but there was something to the effect of getting the forum back to how it used to be. So I got the impression there were some kind of rules or changes going on and as a member its nice to know what they are so I dont get into
unnecessary
trouble.:bonk:LOL

I havent been reading here so I dont know what that means or whats taken place over time , maybe someone else will chime in .

Are we allowed to post links to products? Im assuming thats not allowed as its a store based forum .

Anyway Im happy to be here and happy to learn we can discuss any products!:)
