Ha ha, '73 Maverick, that thing looks great, I guess only in the west...here in the salt belt all of those rusted into oblivion in the 80's...when I saw the title I had to click because I couldn't even remember what a Maverick looked like!

I sure remember the Mavericks in that period. They were not that bad to drive as long as you did not have the small engine.

Was it a variant of the Colt that had that "twin stick" shifter in about 1978? I remember really wanting a Plymouth Sapporo for a while back '80-ish...I can't remember if that was before or after I fell in love with the '79 Mustang Indy Pace Car Replica which became the '80 Cobra...with what was it, a 2.4l 4-cyl turbo? That was back when a 2.4l 4-cyl turbo put out a whopping...140 hp if you hit the right spot on the curve, along with enough torque to unscrew a peanut butter jar and did I mention plenty of turbo lag? Anyway, I think the Sapporo lust came after that, but was somewhere eclipsed by the allure of American Iron...perhaps something like a GM X-body hatchback with an "HO" engine...now we're talking!!

Huh? What? What time is it? I must have been daydreaming back to the glory days...

The 73 Maverick is for sale as of...2 hours ago lol Decided its time to part ways and for her to go on to someone who has the time to fully restore her as I wanted to.
