Poorboy's World products are now being sold at Autopia Car Care Products - Car Detailing Supplies, Car Wax, Car Polishers, Auto Detailing


As of right now, there are about 20 Poorboy's World products currently available in the store. We are adding more items throughout the day, but I'd figure I'd share the exciting news with all of you this morning.


Steve, Pockets, and the rest of the staff at Poorboy's have contributed a lot to this forum, so to be able to announce this today is definitely exciting.

There is a new section for contests and giveaways. We have two threads running at the moment.

The new giveaways won't always be Poorboy specific, but it'll be open to lots of other exciting brands as well. In the end, everyone wins! ;)

we will be here to answer questions, but sorry, there will be no more contests, give-aways or sales as this is now a sole sponsored site, which carries our product line.
 
Tex, I know you understand this but others may not. Change no matter how good it may be usually has a downside for someone, somewhere. Unfortunately it's one of the costs of doing business. Anyone that might have purchased this forum intending to further their business would have to make a similar decision.

Autopia Car-Care wants to be a sole sponsor of their site, they bought DC and are entitled to do so. Dwayne wanted/needed to sell the site. He's not only entitled but deserves it and he's probably relieved to have a mechanism for DC to live on. In the end this is a business decision that a buyer made to further their business.

It will no doubt be a different climate for those of us that are use to the way things have been done. That in no way means it will be bad thing.

Nobody here wants to see Steve, Pockets or discussion of their products disappear. They're icons around here. Giving them your support by continuing to buy their product is the best thing that can happen. Talking about their superior products on this site will still yield positive results for PoorBoys and give them an opportunity to still be involved in discussion. Don't let this change damage that for them.

This site as a community has needed a stimulus for growth for sometime, most members realize this. In the end this could be a very good thing for the DC forum. Please continue in your support not only for PoorBoys but DC as a community.
 
Oh I understand it completely but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I begrudge no one for being business savvy, that's just the way the planet works. A few toes get stepped on and it hurts but it may open other opportunities for the guy with the sore toes!
