Natty's Red or Blue on Metallic

I need opinions on whether Natty's Blue or Red would best hi-lite the metallic flake on my 2 Volvo's. 1 with black metallic and one graphite gray metallic. I have read the blue is best suited for dark colors but I was curious about the metallic paints and the difference in how red and blue will finish out. I am using Autoglym HD wax on both cars and I am happy with the deep wet gloss it provides but I would like to try one of Natty's waxes for comparison.

Thanks,

Paul

Blue gives a deep rich wet glowing look.
Red gives straight bright wetness.

Surprisingly, I've never tried the HD so I can;t give you a comparison.

Wow, good to know. I was leaning toward the red and if that is the case then red sounds like my best choice. Can you typically see the difference between waxes if you apply wax "A" to one half of the hood and wax "B" to the other half ?

This is red over blue on a silver malibu

I have heard of applying one over the other. My wondering is if you were to apply only Natty's Blue to one half of the hood and applied only Natty's Red to the other half of the hood could you see a noticeable difference between them?

Read the thread from rabbi above your post

I missed the hyperlink.

Thanks for the information. I think I will try the red and see how I like it compared to the Autoglym HD.

I would wait for others to chime in. I have seen the same product have different optical effects on different paints. On some paints, one product may highlight them yet on another it may seem to hide them.

Good post. The natty waxes have received glowing reviews everywhere I look. This may be a case where I buy both and see for myself since there does not seem to be a general consensus on which wax brings out the flake the best. Do they sell sample sizes of Red & Blue?

Thanks for all of the information. I doubt I will be disappointed with either the Red or the Blue

ck the vendors

but had you decided yesterday, you could have gotten full tubs for about 15.00 each

There is always another sale around the corner. I believe AG typically has a pretty good Labor Day sale.

Why has no one mentioned nattys white? Clarity and depth, i may try white over blue or red over white, red, white and blue ....ok sorry now im confused :crazy2:

I have quite the wish list going at AutoGeek and I am planning on placing a sizable order during the Labor Day sale and taking advantage of free shipping.

Okay, let me throw another one at you; Duragloss Aquawax or Optimum Car Wax for a spray wax product? Other favorite possibly?
