"Luck" Residue of design
I spent the last few hours making this shirt up. I have a friend who get's his shirts made up and next time he orders shirts we are going to double the order (his and mine) to get the discount but until then here is the best I could pull off. Everything came from Walmart to make this. Here are a few pics.

Looks pretty nice for a home job.

I don't like the quotations around the word mobile, though. Sort of a pet peeve...

And out of curiosity, what's the meaning/origin behind the 'Tuscarora?' Perhaps it's something I missed or a regional thing or something. Just curious...
 
Looks good Dave.. only thing i would change on the back is move the "Auto Detailing" over to the right some.. it doesn't look perfectly centered to me.
 
He lives near and has fallen down Tuscarora Mountain in Pennsylvania... ;) its a good story..

I do this all the time and I don't like the fact I do it either. Keyboards have ruined any skills I possessed as a writer. I couldn't spell myself through a 1st grade spelling bee anymore.

For a home job it looks great

For me less is more so I would drop the "mobile" and "ask me for a business card"
 
My problem with none embroidery is the print gets hot and changes differently than the material isnt on. Also use high quality, mostly cotton shirts to do this. Dave knows I where carhardt shirts that are embroidered, as does Steve. Quality will last 2-3 times onger than a Walmart or farm store shirt will. The cheaper shirts fall apart versus the Carhardt last and just get quite stained after a couple years.

Thanks for your opinions and suggestions guys. The guy that makes the shirts up for my buddy does a much nicer job and they are silk screened. It will all come together eventually.

you shouldn't be smoking while detailing :D or give the idea to people that you would be smoking in or near their cars ;) ..the white was just an example from cafepress where DC used to have their shirts made .. there is no minimum there or the set up charges like most silk screeners charge:)

I know you are right there. I try to adhere to that principle while detailing a customer's vehicle and take a smoke break over by my car. Hopefully soon I won't be smoking at all.:bigups Thanks for the T-shirt connection.

no problem Dave ..they have all sorts of colors and with no minimum, it gives you a chance to try out a few different designs before you commit to a full run or you may want to get some short and long sleeve shirts ..just more options :hmmm:

Just be cautious of cafepress...I don't believe cafepress actually 'screenprint' on their shirts...unless they 'now' do. I ordered a few things from them a couple years back and the design washed off in about 4 washings. Looked like they did nothing more than those cheap crappy inkjet iron-ons you can buy at any office store.

As many of you know I design shirt artwork for a living and nothing compares to a fine quality screen printed design on an even finer quality cotton T-shirt. ;) I still wear my TMoore shirts from 3 years ago and they're holding up still today.

thanks for the info .. I have not ordered from them, but I do remember DC getting items from them a while ago ... i definitely agree with getting quality ..I still have PB T-shirts that are over 7 years old and going strong :rockon
