"Luck" Residue of design
This was a last minute call on a day that I thought would be a no work day. The client and I had been trying to get together on this for a while now.
This was not intended to be a full paint correction job but more of an attack on the dry rubber trim and to simply bring the shine up to a nice luster.
The only water used on this job was what was mixed into my spray and gloss and APC.
Spray & Wiped the entire vehicle
Clayed only the front bumper and hood with Clay Magic Blue and S&G
coated all the rubber and plastic with PB Trim Restorer
Sprayed the tires and wheel wells with PB B&B
This time I used a local guy's product to do the first pass, it is from Caffrey Auto Supply here in Mechanicsburg. It is called fast cut and used with a purple foamed wool pad on the Flex 3401 it did a real nice job of glossing things up with almost zero dusting. (trying to use up some old products)
Ran my second and final pass with the Meg's G110V2 and a PB VC red finish pad using PB PWS
Applied with a MF applicator the LSP was PB QW+
Cleaned the wheels with PB APC
Lastly the vehicle was wiped down of all residue using the DMT from PB
The plastic and rubber trim was real dry and it sucked up the TR but it all came out looking new again.
The client and I were both pretty pleased with the results and so were a few of the passing patrons who took a card and seemed pleased with the price I quoted.:bigups
Ok here are some before pics followed by the afters, thanks for looking, TD
