"Luck" Residue of design
A friend of mine called me to see if I could do anything with the paint on the guitar he just bought as he was rebuilding it and bringing it up to USA specs. So as usual I took the challenge. I used my G110V2 to do all the polishing on the front and edges with 4" pads and used the Flex with VC pads on the back. When I got home I realized I didn't get a finished pic of the back of the guitar.
Cleaned with spray&wipe between passes and wet sanded some of the deeper scratches with 3M 2000 grit paper.
3M super duty compound-yellow pad
Meguiar's M 105-orange pad
PB SSR2-white polish pad
PB SSR1-white Cyclo finish pad
PB EXP to seal the paint
My friend was quite impressed with the results and says he will tell other guitar players about my services.
Here are the photos before, Test section, during and after.
