Hi, my name is Mike and I like to polish paint...

Hi everyone,

Just got to work here at Autogeek, it's Monday morning, August 10th, 2009 about 7:35ish in the morning and saw a notice to this thread in my in-box.

The time stamp on the original post is,

08-21-2003, 06:34 PM

Man time flies by when you're having fun.

Thanks for the warm welcome back, I officially start work today at Autogeek and like normal there's more work to do than there's time to do it.

I'm monitoring and posting to at least 5 forums so far so that should keep me busy most of the time.

:bigups

Yes to clear up any confusion Troy brought this old thread back, Mike was a member on this forum some time ago and now that he is with us and we sponsor here you will be seeing him chime in from time to time.

Did I do something wrong?:dunno:

I could have killed the old account and started a new one I guess. Do people get confused that easy?:bubba

BTW, I want everyone to take notice that I have a lot more green dots than Mike does.:inspector:

Keep working on it Mike, you will get there.:D

Mike,

Welcome to the site from Sonoma County, CA

As you settle in it would be interesting to me, to hear about your back ground in detailing, your history and how your came to the position you are currently in. Your widely respected in a lot of forums, tell us how you got there?

Again welcome to the site and I wish you luck with the gang at AG

I could do something like that, write up a little background story of how I started out in the detailing world and then got my first job as an Outside Sales Rep/Trainer for Meguiar's starting in 1988.

UPS is supposed to deliver some personal items I shipped here from my house in SoCal including some pictures. I actually have a picture of myself giving a wet-sanding demonstration on the bow of my boat that my Mom took and had developed and she even wrote the date on the back. (Thanks Mom!).

I remember as a kid growing up before high school as like many of you probably, taking over the washing and waxing of the family cars, boats and motorcycles instead of letting my Dad do it and that pretty much meant using what Dad had in the garage which was the basics, Turtle Wax, Armor-All, DuPont Rubbing and Polishing Compound.

It's been a winding road through life but a heck of a lot of fun.

:)

I don't even know what you did! :D

Yes, I seeming am easily amused...I mean confused. What confused me was your welcome message w/o evidence of a new post from Mike P.

But since we now have seem Mike P. posting again, I'll say in the words of Emily Litella...."Never mind.":)
