Black Porsche Turbo

This Porsche came to us 250 miles South of us and left a week later, yesterday in fact.

It was a 4 step polishing process, 3 rotary steps with wool and 105, LC white with 105, a beta LC pad with either 205 or Optimum Polish and then finished with a black beta LC pad and Ultrafina and Optimum Finish.

Final step was with one of our Flex orbitals, black finishing pad and Ultrafina. Topped with Optiseal x2

It was loaded up yesterday afternoon on a semi back to its home.

This is a picture of the hood after polishing and sealing and you can also see the edge of the clear bra we installed also.

Awesome glow! :bigups Thanks for sharing Anthony.

What do you think about the new LC pads? Pretty nice huh? They are really coming out with some great stuff.

Also, what are your thoughts on the 205? I use and love 105, but have been thinking about adding the 205 to the mix. I figured it would be very similar to Power Finish, but have been hearing it might be slightly better from some very credible sources.

How did you work on that clear bra by hand or machine

Nice car...I have one to work on this weekend...but its white!

:bigups Great job Anthony, now you can come to my home and do mine:D and we can seat and have a  or two.
I have a friend that puts on clear bra also and they can be a pain in the butt some times.

Hello and thank you.

The 205 is a great product and finishes down extremely well. In many cases, perhaps all but black and red colors, 105 and 205 may be your only 2 steps needed.

The LC pads (kompressor) are also great pads but I also used some very nice pads not yet released which worked beautifully on the Porsche paint.

Thanks again,
Anthony

We polished the area that the PPF was going on first. Then let it dry up for a day to see if it had any issues. We then No Rinsed the car again, taped it all up, including the PPF and then began polishing.

We didn't polish the clear bra but we did apply OCW to it just before transport.

I'm also detailing a white Turbo in our shop today. I'll post those pics up later and I would love to see pics of your detail also.

Thanks for the info Anthony. Looks like I have a purchase to make! :bigups

Yeah, I meant the new beta pads. LC is stepping up their game.

Looking forward to seeing the white one as well.
