Harley Davidson F-250 wheels

Ok i can see fine scratches on my 05 hd f250 wheels and i want to remove them. First im not sure what type of wheel they are. From what i have researched they are bright polished alloy wheels. I used mothers polish and powerball and it didn't turn black. so are they coated? they chrome? Really need some help on what to use to clean and polish these back.

if no black came off then they are coated ... try some Professional Polish on the power ball and then finish up with Wheel Sealant and they'll look great :rockon
 
I agree with Steve. No black came off then they are coated, treat them the same would you would any clear coated paint.
