Mothers PowerBall 4 Paint
It isn't going to be your go to polisher for major correction, but might be a way to go cordless for the easy polish/wax jobs.
Besides, you could justify buying a good cordless drill for use around the house easier than a PC. :)
The fact that it could be used with the PowerBall 4Paint would just be icing on the cake.

seen it but to be honest i dont think it can be effective as a flat surfaced pad
Obviously, it can't/won't be nearly as effective as a PC or a rotary. The idea is simply to have a cordless option.

If someone has actually used the PowerBall 4Paint, I would like to know how it worked for them.

Can't you just use a flat surface pad with the cordless drill?
You can use whatever you want. How well the flat pad works is something I have no idea about. I also have no interest in the flat pad/drill combination.

I'd bet that Chip is paid to like it:D

I totally agree with you that guy gets big bucks for those endorsements. I highly doubt that they really use Mothers products when they are not on camera. Same deal with the show Unique Whips on Speed. I highly doubt that they use Armor All products off camera.

He may indeed use Mothers products but I'll bet he uses a regular buffer and not a drill with a power ball on it when it comes to the finish. He may use the ball on wheels and other tight places.

From everything that I have seen of the PB they look like something that I would like to have....but only for very specialized jobs, like rims and such...They also don't look very durable to me...but then I don't know that for sure

I have one and those things you are suggesting is exactly where I use it. I wouldn't consider using it on my finish. Actually I couldn't, mine is a mini.
