Black Hole and/or White Diamond?

Being the tightwad I am, I hate to buy both products so I have a question for either Poor Boy or some users.
The vehicles the product would be used on:
2000 Bright Red Pontiac GTP - Black Hole recommended.
2004 White Pontiac Montana - White Diamond recommended.
The goal being less polishing and therefore less paint removal.
The question:
Do I need to purchase both products to get the best results?
The money is only part of it. Chances are good that a bottle of either product would last me for years doing both cars. Two bottles might outlast me. :)
 
I'm sorry your going to need both:D

I have not used the WD...however I field tested the BH for Steve and have used it on dark and light colors and the results where outstanding!
 
I'll go with Beemerboy on this one... we've used Black Hole on dark and light colors and the results were awesome ... yes White Diamond would give a clearer glow to the white, but Black Hole will give a deep glow to it too. So if you have to choose and only get one then Black Hole it is :bigups

We also tested White Diamond on both light and dark colors and the results were also very good, but i won't go there :notme: :lol2:
 
Charles, I know you're looking for advice from those that have used both. I unfortunately am like you. I very much intend to try them and will get them on my next order. In the scenario you laid out if I were going to get one or the other. I would probably buy the Black Hole. My reasoning is simply that it will likely make the biggest difference on the red car. I don't know how the Black Hole would work on a white car but I wouldn't be above trying it and bet it looks good. I know, I know that's why Steve makes two products but if it were an either or situation.

Now watch Steve will come on and recommend to you exactly the opposite of my reasoning. As you already know in that case follow his advice. -GH


Edit: Hey he beat me to it and I called it right. Once and a while even a blind squirrel finds an acorn. :)
 
I'm going to hang it up for tonight, but I might be interested in doing a trade with someone that would like to have about 1/2 as much of either product.
