I know no worries

Rest assured i have tried and tried talking her into it. But she ain't budging.:wall:passout:
Actually with gas prices heading the direction they are she is wiser than I am. Probably is anyway without using that example.

I chose satin aluminum because I think they'll go with everything and are rarely too flashy. IMO, wheels are supposed to compliment a vehicle, not the other way around. The flashiest I'd go is a polished lip. My wheels are painted silver and the compliments keep coming.

That's one reason I'm changing my wheels, white/black Jeeps are just way too common nowadays. I have yet to see any white Jeep with polished wheels as shiny as mine are going to be :D

To me, it all depends on the color and type of vehicle. On my black Grand Prix, the high polished wheels looked much nicer that the painted aluminum ones. However, on my Titanium Gray Metallic Speed6, I think a painted aluminum wheel would look better than chrome or high polished.

I voted for a polished wheel, but I think it it would be vehicle dependent. Here is a pic of the wheel that I chose for my Burban. I wanted something different with the new style soft lip, I thought about going with the old school Corvette Rally wheels, but ended up liking these better, they have the valve stem in the back of the wheel so the lip is totally smooth.

Nice wheels. How are these wheels to inflate with the stem on the back side?

It was a pain at first until I made my own 90 degree air chuck, the wheels come with a hidden valve stem that actually goes inside the wheel, so when you look all you see is a tiny flat disc that sits about 1/8" or so above the wheel, then to inflate it you had to screw a stem into it .
I had two problems with this, one..if I lost the screw in stems, im screwed, two...the stem was too long to fit in between my drum.

I ended up changing it over to a shortie stem so I could still have room to access the stem and still have clearance for my drum and caliper.

Where do you get those valve stems I would like something like that for my wheels on the Mustang

what wheels are they...

Ryans Wheel Guideline Per Brand of Vehicle

newer mustangs - chrome or polished aluminum

JDM civics and hondas - gunmetal, black or anything EXCEPT chrome

Acura TL- Type S - Black paint with Black Chrome would be MONEY ! so sexy or polished wheels

Subarus Gold Rally Rims or Black looks good too, anything powdercoated and subtle shine as most subaru paints to me arent as popping as other vehichles paints

Toyotas - Trucks id go big phat chrome for sure, compacts id go regular aftermarket aluminum sport wheels any colour, to me toyotas can pull off almost any finish of wheels

VW - anything except chrome IMO

Audi - Chrome can look good on a well modded A4 but would rather see a silver matte finished wheel that isnt too flashy

BMW - some chrome looks good on BMWs but oem wheels since there is such a huge aftermarket selection or nice BBS wheels look sick, anything with a mesh spoke style !

mercedes and anything else just leave the stock wheels imo .

polished centerlines baby:D
Oh man talk about something dated those things went out of vogue years ago.

Any aluminum must be coated or you will spend all your time polishing that is why I prefer chrome it is easy to maintain and looks good.
