$500 Is The deal Breaker?...I Guess So?

What else did that change include?

I also run synthetic oil. $60 for the Pontiacs or the Hondas for oil, filter, 12 point checkup. Top off all the fluids and see if they can find anything they can get you to have them fix. :D

Sorry my mistake I had a sensor changed out and forgot about that until I looked at the invoice just now...the oil change was 80 bucks....

Hey, at our local Chevrolet dealer, the wash is free. :D
It is a drive-thru touchless. :) Never used it, but the owner of the dealership is a car nut so it might not be too bad.:dunno:

I tend to not let anyone wash the car but me...maybe in the winter I would use one, but for the most part I think the touch less ones use harsh chemicals that strip the wax off...that's my .02

The dealership Charles is probably talking about is KARL Chevrolet, one of the biggest if not THE BIGGEST Chevrolet dealers in the state. $80 for an oil change is still a lot of money! Synthetic cany be over $5 a quart yet are they? Filter $5-6 maybe seven. Really sounds HIGH!

not to but in...
but my dad use to say...
"when lending money to a friend or anyone, is a good way to judge their character, if they pay you back promptly, good person, if not, tell's 10 fold about that person"
over the years, i have found this very true.

Well if it was me I also would use the I'll give it to you if i have it (and if your one of my good friends even if i didn't have it) and I'd forget about it.. money is that money... and the root of all evil...

Beemerboy, sorry to hear of your friendship loss. Friendships are a difficult relation at time. I agree with some others that have said don't borrow or lend money between friends. It is a shame, because it seems to me you should be able to help your fiends or be helped by your friends. Money has a disheartening affect on many.

Chalk it up to a life lesson.
