NXT 2.0 on single stage paint

The Rainmaker
Since there was some discussion about Meguiar's NXT 2.0 on a red car, I thought I might do the Corvette today.
It's a 1981, not original paint, but the single stage lacquer on the car is 20 years old. I have owned the car since 1989.

No prep other than a DP 4 in 1 wash.
Just applied NXT 2.0 with a MF applicator.

The engine photo is just to show what my before conditions usually are. The engine compartment hasn't been detailed for a year and is due.

What a great looking ride you have...how much to you get out in it?
Thanks. :)
It's a daily driver and it shows some wear, but I have no interest in a vehicle I can't use. :D
It doesn't get as much use as it could since I ride the motorcycle most days when the temperature is above 60 degrees and not raining.
The Vette is for when the temp is a little cool and it may rain. (And I don't have to haul something in the van.)

Charles I have a mental image of you ( never seen a real pic of your mug:D) and riding a motorcycle is not one that I comes to mind:wow:....I guess its because of the van that you have posted..sorry:D

Anywho your Corvette is really nice one that anyone can be jealous of;)

Right on Charles! I'm right there with ya. I probably wouldnt drive it in the rain though. It's not me that I worry about, it's all those other idiots out there. :D

Oh, and I DEFINITELY wouldnt drive it when the white stuff is on the ground up there.

The Vette looks great. Be careful out there on the bike.
