I noticed that my glass towels are linting again...I've decided to wash and air dry from now on to see if that helps...The dryer is clean, lint trap is clean...I don't get it.

Its just the glass towels that I can see or maybe the others are as well and I can't see it as much

Try a WW towel on the glass and see if that helps.

I have and they work ok but I really like the glass towels for how they work on the glass...who knows what causes it but they are about dry in the back yard will see if they helps
 
Boy if you had them hanging outside in Indiana tonight they would be in good shape we are going to have freezing rain tonight.:yikes:
 
I also prefer a WW or better yet the surgical huck towels for glass. I've yet to experience linting with the latter.
 
Stephan/Beemerboy, those are the towels. I purchase mine locally from a janitorial supply outfit. I can't recall the cost, but they are packaged by the dozen.

As for throwaway, if you mean the price it would seem so, but as for quality/durability they are far from delicate. Mine have been washed repeatedly in hot water with no ill effects.
 
Are they anything like the all cotton reusable diapers? Those are very soft but I have never used them for detailing.

Except that the material is 100% cotton, they are unlike any cotton diapers I recall. Granted my experience with diapers is a couple of decades removed. :)
 
I seem to be having good luck with a waffle weave towel from the housewares department at Wal*Mart.
The brand is Mainstays and I think the price was $1.97 for a 2 pack.

Note:
I almost didn't post this information since our local Wal*mart has to have the worst service of any store I have ever shopped at.
Because of that poor service, I no longer buy from them, but that's a personal issue with me.
Maybe your results will be better. Man, I hope they aren't any worse. :)
