PB Clay

Just a quick post to say I tried the Poorboy's World clay. As I understand it, any clay bought in the US is pretty much the same stuff. With the exception maybe of the products like Pinnacle's Ulta Poly Clay.

Anyway, I bought some PB slay when it was on sale and I used a bit today on a few spots on my car. I really like the way it worked. I used PB Spray & Wipe as the lube. I cut off a small piece of the clay and it was very malleable and really picked up the gunk that was on the car.

Another satisfying PB product experience! :bigups

It is all made by the same company, but it is all not the same including mine and the Pinnacle ...there are different grades of abrasive and flexibility... I chose this one after trying a few that were pretty bad

I have never had much luck with any Auto or Clay magic clays. I tried the PB clay and had an aweful time with it (one year ago, I believe). I contacted Steve and he gave me a little tip- don't clay when it's cold. Once I used it when it was warm and I kept the clay warm, it worked really nicely. Only a few more years left on the patent ...

Steve, that is good to know. I thought they were all the same. I'm glad to know your's a a bit different. I found it to be very good! Thanks!

Define "Cold." I tried it when it was fairly cool, and it seemed my clay was coming apart. Maybe I just need a new bar.
