Stoner's Invisible Glass

I have used this and I love it!

I have the aerosol can; has anyone tried it with the pump spray? Same result or does it result in less "foam action"?

The spray bottle is even better....more coverage less over spray around the area you are spraying...I also think it goes farther than the can one.

I notice the exact opposite when using aerosol vs spray. The spray is harder to control and runs down the glass were as the foam sticks in place. I also notice the aerosol seems to last much longer than the spray.

Did anyone else notice after using Stoner's for awhile it kinda acts like rainX when it rains. Atleast for me since I started using it when it rains the water sheets right off the windshield.

I too prefer the aerosol. In spite of the many MF towels I have- newspaper works best on the windows with Invisible Glass, at least for me.

I think Anthony had a really good point. Basically, there are positives and negatives to both the pump and the aerosol. Personally, I prefer the pump because the overspray with the aerosol used to drive me nuts.

lonewolf0420, I have noticed as well that IG seems to have rain-x like properties which is why IG is still in my collection. Otherwise, I would not buy it anymore, because I feel Sprayway Glass Cleaner has better cleaning power and streaks less.

I think most glass cleaners are made from alcohol and really don't leave much behind except clean glass. It's the clean glass that lets water sheet or roll right off. I get the same results when claying glass and clay definitely doesn't leave anything behind, it strips the glass clean.

I like the Stoner's IG spray, I apply it directly to a MF towel, follow up with a dry MF towel.

Another thing I do is wipe the glass in a vertical motion for interior glass cleaning, horizontal for exterior glass. That way, you can see the direction of any streaks and know if it is inside or out!

I switched to the pump because at the car shows the wind would blow the spray from the aerosol all over the car.
I'm using up what I had of the aerosol for cleaning when car is in the garage.

that' s avery good idea!!!

I use a cheap swiffer type tool that has the 4 slit corners on the top and a foam pad on the bottom. Just put your microfiber over the pad tuck the corners. It makes cleaning the interior winshield a snap.

Well after reading your positive comments I went ahead and bought 3 cans of IG,this stuff is amazing, very easy to apply and buff, what I noticed is the expiry date on the bottom of the can,I have almost a year before it expires, and wonder what happens after that, does it not work as well ?this is the first time I have noticed an expiry date on a detailing product.

I used IG today for the first time. I had been using Eagle 20/20. As an earlier post said, the spray does not "stick" to the glass but just runs down -- always one good bead drip. The eagle tended to run less but it may also have a better sprayer.

I cannot say if there is any difference in cleaning yet but IG smells more like alcohol (?) and appears easier to remove..maybe because it runs more. On one window with haze, it did not seem to do much better than Eagle but I need more time.

I suspect it is best to apply IG to a towel and then wipe rather than directly on the glass.
