Spent the past two days laying 14,000 square feet of sod. Sorry no pics. It's taken me a year to get the lot ready. I put a small (3 ft. X 120 ft.) terraced wall in the back yard. I know this doesn't sound like much to you young, strong men but for this old guy with a titanium spine it was quite the project. Cars have really been on the back burner lately. I'm going to crawl into a hole and die now.

That sounds like a lot of work, but I'm more interested in hearing about the titanium spine. How much of your back is metal?
 
I'm dead tired too, got up at 6AM, got home from work at 7PM...now going to bed at 8.35PM...I'm getting old .

I have 4 vertebrae fused and two pretty long rods. The scar on my back is about 14". It's pretty cool to look at on an X-Ray. The screws are very long (maybe 3" or so). That's the only part of it that's cool. Can't play golf anymore. Can't twist.

That's my problem now I'm all gone. There's nothing left. I've got some nice curbed, washed gravel gardens but not a plant in sight. I'm thinking of hanging it up for this year. Some might call it zero scaping but I know it's just zero effort.
 
That's what I'm about as far as landscaping goes. I hate to do yard work and it sometimes shows. That does suck to hear about your back though.
