Not looking forward to the summer heat

I know a lot of you northern guys can't wait for summer but I can. I'm used to being a lobster working through the summer time.:surrender

Weird thing is the only sunburn I have gotten lately is when I sat and watched my girls soccer games saturday morning.:huh:

I have even played some beach volleyball for a couple hours recently and didn't get much sun and that usually really gets me. :hmmm:

Boy, you got that one right.
The only thing good about winter is college basketball. :)

We seriously considered moving to a southern state, but decided we didn't want to leave family and friends in this area. :wall
Isn't it amazing the things you do for friends and family?:crazy:

I would love to be back up North. I really miss having four seasons and miss winter the most. The heat has already been pretty bad, but as long as I'm not in Kuwait or Iraq in July again, I guess I should be pretty happy. 140+ degrees is just a tad bit too hot for my taste. Now that I think about it, this will be my first full summer home in a couple of years. Now it needs to stop raining every other or third day so I can get a good detail completed.

Been in shorts and a T-shirt all week. Had the air onin the tractor that it works in. Starts out at about 50degrees in the morning and getup to the high 70's. It gets realhot in thetractor when the air doesnt work, about done myself in a couple years ago when it was 30 higher inside the cab and 90 outside. Im staying put here in IOWA, MN has big mosquitos youguys down south have poisonous snakes, gators, dangerous wide animals, and cant drive in snow and ice. Heck thats when it getsfun up here!!!! I dont likethe heat. Veryhappy herein West Central/Southwest IOWA. RANDAL
 
The older I get...the more I hate the cold. And we live in Florida! The worst it gets is 30's at night! No, seriously the thing I love about summer, even though we live in tropical climate, is the long light! I love it when it stays light until 9.
 
It's going to be 89 degrees this weekend. With Love Bug seaon strting, I really need to get some detailing done to the Envoy and MG.
