Go to bug and tar remover

What’s everyone’s go to bug and tar remover. A friend of mine who is a mobile detailer says he’s been running into a ton of cars with Tar deposits and heavy bug build up. He is looking for something that can be purchased in bulk because some of his contracts have 20+ cars. Most of these cars are owned by business men/women who don’t clean them often. He is wanting something that is safe on a variety of paints being that he works on all different types of vehicles. Whatever he is using now he said just isn’t economical. I figured I’d ask the experts here to get your thoughts
 
Too harsh?? You have been putting it on auto paint every time you applied a polish or liquid wax, a bug and tar remover, been the go to safe solvent for car are products for decades !!!
 
I just use CP Tar-X. Will probably use tarminator in the future or Mineral spirits as Ron suggested

Duragloss, Poorboys bug Squash are both very good as is Griots. One of the best for TAR is plain ole Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover, but to goes on dry and you basically polish it off like a wax. Its too much for a whole panel or a bumper but for a small spot of TAR its my favorite.
 
Koch Chemie Eulex works wonders on really stubborn tar and adhesive, but it is not safe for plastics. I primarily use CarPro TarX and 3D Bug Remover.
 
Gyeon Tar is a fantastic tar, rubber and adhesive remover. As for bugs they wash right off with a regular car wash because my cars are protected with Polish Angel Cosmic V2 and topped with Cosmic Spritz and on all of the glass I use Gyeon QuickView. Nothing sticks to it.
 
Bug and tar removal (to me) are 2 totally different things and require 2 totally different chemicals. Bugs are easily removed with a water based alkaline cleaner. Tar a light solvent like Wax & Grease remover. I’ve never used 1 product that does both removals well.
 
Well, if you trying to be "economical" about it, gasoline makes a good tar remover, at least that is what i used in my (MUCH) younger days. Yes, gas was only a quarter (25 cents) a gallon back then. Today it is $5 a gallon.
Never thought about mineral spirits as a tar remover. Today I do use Stoner`s Tarminator for tar removal , BUT it`s no-so-good for some plastics and do-it-yourself applied rustproofing.

Cheap bug splatter/guts remover? In my younger day I used Regular Coke-Cola. Worked really good on chrome bumpers. That was when an 8-pack of 12-ounce bottles was one dollar ($1) Same deal as the gasoline. Soda ain`t so cheap today.
Today I use Poorboy`s World Bug Squash. Not the cheapest, but diluted 3:1 it is effective on spring lake fly hatches in Wisconsin and grasshopper splatter. Not exactly like those in the south who deal with Love Bugs, but bad enough.
(You ARE old, Captain Obvious. I inadvertently implied that comment to my dad one day when studying American History while in fifth grade. I asked him what Abraham Lincoln`s voice sounded like when he heard him deliver the Gettysburg Address in person. He was NOT amused!!)

gasoline dries to fast and can be nasty
