I used to post here a lot years ago, forgot my login info, so I had to make a new account.

I detailed a lot in the past & ran my own business on the side and am getting back into that. I quit detailing because I had two small kids and started a pretty demanding job. I got back into it when a neighbor asked me for help cleaning up a few of his vehicles. It`s like a drug, once I started doing it again I was pretty hooked. Things have sure changed a lot with products for sure! I`m mostly working with Meguairs, Chemical Guys, and Griots Garage products for now, but definitely looking to invest in some of these new products out on the market.

Welcome back. Some of the classics are still going strong. What year did your take a break?

2010 was when I took a break. I have seen some of the classics are still strong, I still see posts about Pinnacle Souveran which was always amazing.

You got out before coatings took the world by storm. They`re worth checking out but IMO not the holy grail, yet.

Other notable things worth checking out:

Griots PFM towels - dry a whole car with 1 small towel
Nanoskin Clay sponges/towels - claying in 1/4 of the time or less
Tuf Shine - a tire shine that actually lasts past a rain storm

The rest of it is pretty much just the flavor of the week.

I am so excited to join this form because now i will be able to keep myself updated regarding car related need like best car wax,car polishes and other supplements.
