Well, sorta detailing related. I was sick and tired. Finished steam cleaning the floors, and carried the steamer to the bathroom to empty out the leftover unit. Anyhow, the way I was carrying it.....the drain plug where one you would unscrew if you descaling it, left a healty Quarter Sized BURN diameter on my left wrist. Did not notice it until like 2 hrs later, where it was nice and red....

Aloe is your friend - say this several times as you apply it multiple times a day... you will glad you did.

Indeed. We keep a aloe vera plant close by in the kitchen.

7-8 years ago, I had a skillet I took out of the oven
I set it on the stove
I was cooking up a storm (we had guests). I forgot the handle was hot.....and well, you know. Anyhow, lotsa Aloe immediate and was quite surprised by it`s effects !

Being fair skinned and from up north, when I moved to Florida I discovered the nectar of the gods that is aloe with lidocaine. It became my best friend my first summer here. B)

I gotta ask: What kind of steamer unit is it? I assume you use it on vehicle for cleaning, as well.

Hope your burn is not too sever.

Right now is the time of year when it is easy to get frostbite and sunburn/wind burn together! Don`t laugh! It was -3°F actual temp outside and the wind-chill index was -15°F this morning. Very "unusual" late winter weather for Northeast Wisconsin and we have about 20" of snow on the ground. Not since the mid-1960`s as a kid have I seen snow banks this high! Shoveled some of them back 3-times to see down the road safely out the of driveway AND have somewhere to put more when it falls (like this weekend!)

I wouldn`t call it mild if it was hot enough to blister up....

I`ve been dealing with a cold, tired and I was just to exhausted anyhow, but cleaning need to get done.
As I was carrying it to the bathroom, I felt it singe, but it wasn`t really on my radar that it was ~singeing the skin~.......eh.

All good. Note to self. Continue to clean even if feeling sick. Just be aware that you sensitivity decreases

I think the whole sensitivity thing happens as you get old too. eeks
