Ryobi undercarriage cleaner

Need it here in SW Pa.

Do internet search, auction site has it cheaper :)

It will hang on my garage wall ;)

Ah, that`s like a mini version of the one I have from American Waterbroom except even better since it attaches to a pressure washer! Maybe similar to the ones made by Karcher. YES, good thing to have! Buy one! But don`t expect miracles since even with the pressure washer I suspect you`d have to get under there with BHBs/etc. to actually *clean* things, same as you usually have to do more to the top side than just pressure wash it.

I’ve seen different versions of it on Amazon. Once you split the power up three ways the pressure really drops. Probably good for removing dirtt, but grease and grime would need a degreaser and agitation. Kind of like using a power washer to clean wheel wells, you still need a brush to get the job done.

I have one. Picked it up at Home D for $25 or so. I didnt have big hopes for it since I dont have a big pressure washer, but was surprised at how much crud came out. Something is better than nothing

IMO you`d need mechanical agitation no matter what, it just gets dirty under there.

I`ve posted about how I can do an OK, if not Autopian, job just rinsing a freshly LSPed vehicle with a pressure washer, but 1) that doesn`t get things clean enough for touch-drying so how clean is it really, and 2) I think we all realize that won`t work well at all on something that`s truly dirty or not well-LSPed. Same applies in an even bigger way with the underneath, even if it`s not greasy.

Noting again that my Undercar Wand just uses regular hose-end water pressure (which is boosted a bit in my case), I`ve tried crawling underneath with the pressure washer and using it instead. Minimal difference IMO, possibly because my wand has good nozzles/jets that provide a surprisingly potent spray.

Just rinsing something off only goes so far. But that sure doesn`t mean these things aren`t great for that, and I really do think such stuff oughta get some serious consideration from everybody who`s into Detailing. Some of the areas that don`t show can be even more critical than the panels that do.

I got one from amazon last year and it was great until I changed out heads so I could soap the underside and then it sucked until I went back to original ends to which I found out were smaller than what I was using

Got the ryobi on clearance at HD last year. Mine leaks like a sieve which I could probably fix but I found it pretty useless at least using my Simpson electric PW. Pretty weak and using under my truck the pressure wasn`t concentrated enough when it reached the underside of the chassis, because it`s higher off the ground than a normal vehicle.

Will try fixing the leaks and use it on one of our cars instead.

I`m sure it would be great attached to my gas PW but the idea was quick rinsing during the winter and dragging out the gas PW kinda defeats that purpose.

I picked up Ryodi couple months ago. Being in Ohio they to brine an salt th roads. My daily does have fluid film. The Ryobi works good with my AR Vlue 390SS 2000psi 1.4gal per minute. I was hesitant on it having more then 3 sprayers and loosing pressure. Very happy with it so far.

Just got mine a few weeks ago. Very happy with the quality for $40. Works exactly like I anticipated and maybe even better than I hoped. Now if I could erase the 15 years of WI winters from my 06 Sienna’s frame. Especially the first six I didn’t own and flush the frame:)
