I`m not familiar with the Geyon Trim Coat..is it a coating or a sealant?

The UTTG+ I use for almost all exterior plastics is just a sealant, but it generally lasts long enough that I can get by with roughly annual applications. Although OK, somebody more Autopian (or somebody who uses their vehicle more) would probably redo it a bit sooner...

Just curious having seen that you plan to redo annually.

I believe it to be a proper coating, which one will have to maintain with a proper PH shampoo. I’m predicting annually based on all the threads and reviews I’ve read.

I’m absolutely an amateur, but dove in head first thanks to Autotopia this year. There are amazing contributors here - love my new hobby.

It`s been awhile and I need to do some more reading, but awhile back, I was looking at how some apply coatings via said application as well......and well, you know, hopefully with moisture traps, etc in the plumbing

TBH I really don`t use it much anymore. I couple years ago I discovered a fine over spray on the car after coating a set of wheels that where off the car but in the same 24` x 24` room. I was backing the car out at night a noticed a film on the glass. I haven`t air brushed a coating since as it`s not worth the time to mask off the car IMO.

I ran the gun at about 20psi. It has a 1.0mm tip and 3 different adjustments on it for airflow, fluid, and spray width. I tired to only fill it up with what I intended to use but would poor back in any excess. To clean it out I ran lacquer thinner through the gun and I`ve never had an issue with it clogging yet. I did have an oil/water separator installed in-line at my old shop.

For the 911 piece I sprayed it outside on a day when there was no wind.
