Hi everyone, I have been gone for a while and recently came back to Autopia. When I logged in I noticed that my account was still active but all of my previous posts have been deleted. Did something happen while I was gone?

Welcome back Fskof !
You may have been here when Classic Motoring Accessories ran this Forum??
Or perhaps another Forum before that one?
When Jack I believe that was his name, left Classic Motoring Accessories, the Forum changed hands, and of course all of our posts from way, way, back, were lost..
But that`s ok, we just started over again.. And again...And again... :)

It`s a little more complicated than what was suggested, as I alluded to in that other thread. There was the original Autopia. And there was Detail City. Then CMA started their Truth in Detailing forum (TID). Then David B. sold the Autopia forum to 3D, and the Autopia store to PBMG (Autogeek). Then Dwayne who owned Detail City, went to work for PBMG, and sold Detail City to PBMG, who renamed it Autopia Forums (AF) as a companion to the Autopia store. Then CMA went out of business and PBMG bought them and folded TID into AF. So now AF was an amalgam of Detail City, TID, and any new members who had joined as Autopia Forums. Then 3D sold the original Autopia to PBMG and it was merged together with AF into what exists now. So it`s possible members could have had accounts at 4 different forums that were all merged together.
