Oddly, some colors look great in the shade and look a bit weird in the sun.
Others colors look great in the sun and look a bit odd in the shade.
This is a dark metallic red pearl and looks great in both the sun and shade.
I was actually impressed with the color/quality of the Toyota paint on this vehicle.
 
Have to share my thinking prior to opening your 2018 Camry thread. Based on the magazine articles and few 2018`s I`ve seen on the road I didn`t care for the new design.

Then I opened your thread. Combination of great photos, polished paint and the right color, and you changed my opinion of the 2018. Amazing, a true Merlin moment. Your pictures make the car look better than a car magazine:)
 
The close up photo of the left front bumper makes the Camry look, aggressive, sporty, and cool. The right lighting really accentuated the lines all over. Impressive.
 
I like the new Camry. If it wasn’t for the lack of CarPlay, it’d be a slam dunk. Too bad the red interior isn’t available with the red paint.
 
Oh wow, excellent job! Wasn`t too sure about the redesign myself, but seeing this makes me want to upgrade ours. $36K for the V6 is really tempting me!

This particular model has a panoramic sun roof, JBL audio upgrade, driver lane assist (auto brake), birds eye view when is reverse, car length (5-7 etc.) when in cruise control and much more.
I actually was impressed with all the features in this "Camry". the "look" has changed and looks more like a Lexus (without the price tag) and the color all I can say is wow. The ruby pearl is awesome.
