I had these two bottles opened since Jan of this year. I have been wanting to use them before they go bad. I took my sweet time prepping the car (5 days) but on Saturday morning I finally laid the coatings down.

car hit 85k miles a few weeks ago when I drove home but still looks pretty good (except for those chips on the front grill insert)

thoughts: csl went on fine but the exov3 was a little thicker and harder to remove than when i first used the bottle in January but point being if anybody tells you this stuff goes bad after a month or a few weeks, well I disagree. bottles were stored properly and lids were put on very tight and I still have about half of each bottle left, 2/3 or so of exov3.

I only did one coat of csl, one coat of exov3 because it was a little more finicky to remove the exov3 than the previous 3 times I applied these and I really wasn`t in the mood to add more layers and I cannot guarantee I`m not gonna top this with anything, even though I know nothing really plays well on top.

thanks for viewing

Awesome finish! Love the car, looks mean and clean! The beads are crazy, looks like they aren`t even touching the surface.

Thanks for update Brandt, I can rest easier on waiting to use my CSL. As for the EXO V2 I have left I may try that on a work truck or the bottom of my boat. EXO V2 was already kinda finicky for me as my skills are low and the atmosphere for coating was bad, even though after a day I couldn`t find any of the high spots I saw the day I put it on. I am just bit timid on trying EXO on anything I put a lot time into correcting. CSL on other hand was almost as easy as a sealant to deal with.

Oh yeah and your car looks crazy awesome as always.

Brandt, WOW, that`s vehicle pops. Looks fantastic and the reflection is unbelievable.

I will warn you about the opened bottles that have sat-- they seem to cure faster so beware -- my CSL streaked on the bumpers because I did the entire bumpers and then wiped it off- which I knew was a bad idea, I just did it anyways

I haven`t polished them off yet,,the streaking is barely visible under my led light but I know its there so I will deal with it soon...I figure it`ll be a good experience in how aggressive you have to get to remove csl+exo ... because I put a rupes blue pad and essence on my nano and it didn`t touch the streaking and still beads like crazy

we haven`t really gotten a full sunny day since last week and once we do I will pull the car out and see just how noticeable the streaking is and then make a decision if I will start over or not, it`s barely noticeable under 3600 lumens but the fact that it`s there will probably drive me crazy in general eventually

thanks. the water behavior of csl+exo on the other side of my car is what made me decide to do almost the entire car (I had to keep the hood uncoated so I could play with something though)

it`s just so easy to clean and wash and nothing wants to stick to it, plus I chose to chase a few scratches and left some others but I wanted to have a nice thick sacrificial layer on there for a couple of years (3-5 I guess)

Then I`ll tell the girls they are "panning for gold" next time the poop scoop......
haha
you know you would have used zirkon in my situation

once you finally coat the Z you`ll have these tough shine decisions to make as well :)
