Ronkh
Wax Waster
Every time I look at the new `vettes (hi ya, Ron!) I think that I`d go nuts trying to keep one of those the way I`d want it...just so many.."details" that`d have to be attended to.
yep

white corvette`s with chrome wheels... just no way to make them shine
but seriously..any vehicle where the owner brags about how well maintained it is....well then wth are you calling a detailer?!
I don`t like lifted trucks! in general or to detail

For me it`s my wife`s Town and Country... and she knows it too, I think she even snickers when she ask me wash it....
Neighbor has a super raised FX4, I could not do the front window for anything lol. Even with a ladder I couldn`t figure out a good way to get at it. Plus I felt like I was going to topple over trying. I`ve since bought one of those Stoner glass cleaning wand thingies which would work great on a boom handle. But I don`t think I`ll ever detail a truck that high off the ground again.
Jeeps and G wagons!
G-wagons, suck. The front end is aweful!
Conversation vans (especially raised roofs), trucks with no tonneau cover, suburbans, and any other tall vehicle. I hate using ladders for anything.
IMO...well, more IME...people who find doing tall vehicles a PIA oughta get a bunch of good work platforms. Simply makes it *easy* and I really don`t see how anybody can do a proper job doing (especially the inspecting) the roofs of those without platforms anyhow. I even use mine for the larger sedans as it makes it *so* easy to inspect the roof (and even the hood of the Crown Vic) from all angles and reach across the centerline (FWIW, I`m only 5`9" so maybe that factors in).
Oh man! I haven`t done a conversion van since the mid 90`s! At the time I was doing high volume work for a large auction and we were literally told to climb on top of the roof and buff them. Of course I was only 135-140lbs back then!![]()
