RQDSM? :)

Ron you just made it seem so appealing and I haven`t used cure in quite a while so why not. I think it was the black metallic flake from your spoiler that made me want to try this on a larger sample of metallic black.

good mix

12 oz of ech20 1:10 (already had it diluted into rtu form) + 1oz gyeon cure

Gave me a chance to try it on different lsp areas...(zirkon/high gloss...black hole+black wulfenite...blackfire tps+black ice+wulfenite...and a coating, csl+exov2, csl+exov3)

I didn`t expect there to be much of a different on application but there was a significant difference actually.

When I sprayed this mixture on non coated panels it took a towel wipe, flip and final wipe with 2nd towel to really get the slickness and make me feel like it was buffed out sufficiently...but on the csl+exo areas it literally seemed to melt into the surface and on the towel flip it had already flashed clear, no need at all for the 2nd clean towel wipe.

No real surprise that it was easier to apply and remove to the coated surface but it was significantly easier to use there.

I thought that was of noting and posting about. so here`s some videos I decided to make since I was in the garage anyways

I think its a tad defective though, I didn`t see Any palm trees but I am ready for the club meet tomorrow night.

Give yourself an extra 5 min. It may need a wipe down.

yea probably..also I think I have a tiny rodent that sneaks into my garage at night. I`ve noticed little footprints on my car when it should be spotless

guess I gotta get some mouse traps now. I wonder if that sob slides all over my car, there are lots of tiny little scratches on it, perhaps they are not all from the cat when the car sits outside

So, at 1:10, did it leave any streaks or does the Cure help with that?

I think the cure addition really helps with the flashing of the product

I still could see the potential for streaking on the non coated parts of my black paint, and for all I know there could be a little- haven`t pulled it out in the sun yet (and won`t until I get home from work)

BUT when applying this (as intended) to a coated surface, wow its a completely different product to use and essentially melts into the surface.

You mean straight up water diluted Ech2o without Cure...

I just got my bottle and will probably do a 1:15 dilution mixture.

this as in the product I was talking about at the time (the one with cure)

I take my car`s black paint as a better test for products than my grey truck.

I think 1:15 is a good mix for light cleaning but I guess you`ll have to figure out what works for your method and temps where you are at.

I mixed a gallon of 1:10 and 1:20 right off the bat when I got my 2 bottles a while back

the 1:20 is almost too diluted IMO

That would be cool , and sticking to the topic would be even better, since drifting away sometimes makes it difficult to follow. This went from mixture ratios to rodent control !! Only amusing to a point for some .

My last post , I was not referring to you Kevin Welch or anyone else in particular. Sometimes it is like an outsider walking in on an inside joke. That`s all. No offense to anyone !!

rodent control is serious business when you have all the micros and detail stuff in the garage that I do. I already had to move my Rupes out of the garage just in case that rat B$#Sard finds a way inside the bag

I have also found that a second wipedown is necessary. A light buff actually heightens the shine and removes anything I missed the first time. I think this is an ECH2O thing and has nothing to do with adding the SIO2 topper product. I wonder if cooling this mixture in the refrigerator might make removal easier?
