Meguiar`s Car Wash Plus+

Agree with Civicclutch - ONR would be safer than that IMHO. Plus, how do you get 20 car`s worth of washes out of that bottle the way they showed him slathering it on?

Iin my opinion for the average consumer this product will cause more swirls/marring/scratches than it will eliminate. People are lazy, if they see soap on their mitt they will wash 4-5 panels without rinsing off the mitt. For Autopians I can see this working like a standard 2bm wash. I think 2bm is easier than rinsing the mitt after every panel with hose. Really any soap in a squeeze bottle could accomplish similar results, just with out the polish. Could put a couple ounces of M205 into a squeeze bottle with some Meguiars HW:)
 
Suppose it`s better than my neighbor who sprays Invisible Glass on dirty paint then wipes away. The truly brave waterless wash lol.

That made me laugh:) Ever try to show him a real waterless wash?

At least he is using quality glass cleaner.
 
So the average car wash Joe is going to take to this method more than Waterless or Rinseless??? - Making some funny business decisions lately Megs..
 
I can see so many consumers now saying ..."why hire you to polish my paint when I can do it myself as I wash my car?" , thanks Megs for making our efforts at educating customers even harder now.
 
One thing is for certain: that guy is having a GREAT time washing his car! Just look at that jaw-dropping mouth open smile of pure joy:

This was tested & designed on a wide variety of paints. With that said we of course cannot test for ever paint and situation. Since this product is best applied directly to the wash mitt, one of our Tips is to rinse the wash mitt with a blast from the hose to flush out dirt & contaminants, then re-apply the product.

Great point. There are many variables, but in general one application will not completely remove for example a polymer based wax like our Ultimate Wax, but it will knock it down pretty well, so yes, it would be recommended to follow with one of our protectants after an application.

Thanks for the updates, The Guz. That first section, where you asked and Nick replied, made me think of Final Inspection and the Zero Bucket Wash. Something about having to blast the mitt with a hose, that just doesn`t go well with me. And yes, I`ve tried it.

Although, I can see how I could incorporate this into my washes. I use multiple mitts anyway, and skip the grit guarded buckets. Then again, still have tons of soap left to use up, and that`s not including the rinseless ones!
 
So it`s a Soap "paste" , if this does better in sales than the RW they discontinued, then I don`t know what to think of humanity anymore.
 
They were thinking outside the box on this one but cannot believe consumers will accept it.
