Sonax Profiline Ceramic Coating Autogeek SEMA 2016 Video

hmmm, wondering how this is any better then polymer net shield, that doesnt have a 2 step process, I can get 6 months out of it pretty easily.

I can see some of the points of view about this product. There are a number of coatings out there that are one step and advertise 1, 2 or 3 years of longevity. I`m sure some of those claims are reserved for the best of circumstances.

If priced right, I wouldn`t be that upset if this is advertised as a 3 year product but only a year or so of longevity is achieved for daily drivers. This product looks incredibly easy to apply. The one thing I hate about coatings is spacing out those little drops. The concept of spraying something on is much more agreeable to me. I`ve been curious about Sonax Rimshield - it looks easy to apply. I like Hydr02. I like Gyeon Wetcoat. Maybe it`s because I`m always pressed for time.

Nevertheless, this product looks easy to apply and looks like it`s hard to mess up. 1 year...3 years...hell, I`m polishing my car anyway at 1-2 years because I`m bored and ready for a refresh!!! :)

I`m kind of a Gyeon and Gtechniq fan boy, but this has piqued my interest...

I`ve used the Sonax Rim Shield. I honestly wasn`t that impressed. I have a Taurus SHO with black rims. I could still see dullness after the spray dried. I quit using it. But the other products do interest me. I`ll probably try the 2 step. Looks easy and fun to do. I`m also not concerned if it doesn`t go beyond the year on protection. I`m usually bored by then too and want the refresh!
