caution:graphic content inside!

this has been on my books since August, I quickly found out why soon after starting

owner is from belgium and now lives in austin.

purchased this z3 m from PA a few months ago.

booked as a 1 step and lsp. that was the plan until after I washed it and pulled it into my garage

wheels/tires
bdx, brushes, rupes 101 soap, gyeon wet coat, bold n bright, wheels later topped with liquid Souveran spray wax

the wash-
rupes 101 soap, bug squash, 2bm, ferrex, ultimate detail brush
blow dried, pfm towel

pretty overcast and i started early, didn`t get much sun outside

pulled in to see if those new garage lights work alright...

First, let me say I hope you`ve had your coffee and possibly only that because get ready to potentially lose that breakfast...i will lessen the blow with a series of before after and 50/50s :)

Beautiful work, when they were new and still to this day I can`t decide if I like that car a lot or hate it, such an odd design.

First, I think this is the first time I seen a non Challenger post, but I could be wrong. Great job and thank you for the warning.

Wow. Nice work. I`m not big on green but I do like that color.

On the Optimum Ferrex. What is your process on using that? Did you do the entire car w it or just the wheels??

Beautiful work, they will be back for sure so next time hopefully it won`t be so bad and hard to do. Thanks for salvaging such a horrible looking paint. You truly are a master

I asked him, is this metallic? yup it was. just was clouded over
I washed the car, half arse rinsed, bdx, rubbed in, washed again and then used clay mitt then rinsed, wheels were done after all car was done as they were hot upon arrival
Love these cars. Amazing work!
thank you

thanks for the kind words..but I`d give the credit to 3d aat compound (its a friggin beast!!!!) and Italian engineering... you should have seen the smile on my face when I saw the results - cut that out in NO TIME!

Nice work as always!
thanks
Great turnaround!!! Looks like it had been washed with a Brillo pad previously.
that is exactly what I told the owner! haha

somebody painted it and I guess they had sandpaper pads for the buffing

it baffles me how someone can have the skill to paint a hood, yet leave it looking so bad!

Love the title of the thread! It was spot on! Holy smokes was it hammered and hacked to hell!

Great save, transformation and restoration...it looks great! FANTASTIC 50/50 shots!

Excellent job, once again!!!!! Your talent and persistence is very apparent. I hope the owner truly appreciates the effort it took to "save and restore" his vehicle`s paint. The compensation from this job should completely fill that third bedroom--LOL!!! How are the lights working out?
