Made the decision today. It`s final. I`m keeping her. She`s irreplaceable.

Ok so lets discuss the paint...

I am thinking of going Crystal Serum Light...still have two unopened bottles and 1 unopened exov2.

maybe even cslx2 and exo x4

let`s just get crazy, lol

BUT if there`s a better coating that I can actually buy, I`m up for discussions.

Now the fun stuff:

on the table are these ideas....
1.heads/cam + torque convertor + slicks
2. 125 shot nos +torque convertor + slicks + $ for "whoopsie i broke that" mods
3. all suspension: shocks/brakes/springs + slicks (lol)
4. cam + nos + torque convertor + slicks
5. nothing- haha.like that`s even an option
im looking for 11.99 or lower

saving funds to "professionalize" my garage too

I`ld do #2 if that`s what your looking for -12 sec run but also make sure you got brakes to handle the extra power. Also will the block handle the nos without pitting, I`ve heard in past that this could happen with out proper work atleast with civics it was

I pass on the NOS. Stock engines can only take it for so long. I had an HKS boost management system on a car with a full exhaust and after about 10k -15k the car was no longer reliable. I am somewhat to blame as I really over enjoyed the boost and ran it on hi always.

Speed is addicting but after pushing the car more than driving it I made it someone else`s problem. I have been a stock guy, buy em how fast you want me since then.

I personally would do the full suspension and possibly exhaust.

I know you saw my forum post on Coatings and the next one I`m going to try is nanolex or IGL. .

6.1 block has been proven to take 150 all day for years
im looking 75-125 MAX
but if i like it i may pay to open her up and get new compression...but im a fan of all motor first and foremost

Are you still buying another one?
the presumption would be a negative, sir

im looking for a 2009 ish srt8 Cherokee now as a DD

id rather have 2 srt`s than 1 hellcat..but thats just me
ive yet to meet a hellcat owner who can handle his/her own damn hellcat on the track, lol

thus, i look forward to embarassing some of them soon, hahahaha

Haha sounds great! Id prefer srt or a bottom line vette. Don`t need all that power. Cherokee is a good decision!

So far the cam and long tube headers are the biggest improvement on my 6.1, you`ve already got long tubes..... I know you`ve mentioned you are worried about putting a cam in with the mileage you have on it, but my car only has 5,000 less miles and no problems. Nitrous is fun but gets expensive/a hassle pretty easy, I say go with upgrades that you don`t have to constantly worry about refilling/running out of.

Option 2-Nitrous w/slicks, hold off on the converter and maybe put her on a diet when you hit the track. A good tune is a must, of course, but I think that should get you into 11s.
