Well since you asked.... :)

I have the original Mark II prototype (build date 02/15)
...2 additional Mark II prototypes
3 21ES models
2 15ES models
2 21 MkII
1 15 MKII
2 Minis
2 LHR-75 pneumatic minis
1 TA-50
1 LD-30
9 various Skorpio II sanders
Nano iBrid prototype number 4
Nano iBrid longneck number 1
Nano iBrid shortneck number 1
a number of prototype tools that I cannot name (5 to be exact)
about 300 pads of various sizes and colors, including prototypes
30 or so liters of compounds and 30 or so 250ml compounds
tons of prototype and production chemicals
and some really cool stuff headed for SEMA, or so I`m told.

In otherwords, I cannot pick just one :/

Granted you work for Rupes, that is still a mighty fine assortment of tools. Rupes should bring a battery operated, full size, long throw DA to the market.

The man Did say 5 prototypes he can`t discuss

:)

Keep hope alive, haha

I have a list of machines...

I recently picked up a 15 MKII (From Todd at Detail Fest 2016)
I did a car the other day and preferred the MKI 21 with a 5" BP and the KB washer mod.
I personally felt it performed better than the MKII - but hey that`s me.
Maybe it`s what your used to.

I feel the same way about my MKI 21 with a 5" backing plate. I thought I was just crazy, but you saying this makes me think otherwise.

I bought the Bigfoot 21. I can`t say it works any better than the Flex. It`s a nice design, it`s quiet. But for the money I spent, I might have been better off with another Flex. I had the money to spend and just wanted to try something different and jumped on the bandwagon.

The Rupes is just so much easier on the body. Doesnt beat you up so much. With back problems, thats a big deal.

What ya want for it? Is it an MKII or Legacy?

+1... Since I bought my first Rupes, 2 years ago, I haven`t touch my Flex. And I don`t miss it one bit.

My old PC and a rotary. Maybe someday I`ll get a Rupes........................sounds like jewel of some type....

I haven`t gone to the MKII yet. I just use the 21 for the horizontal panels and the 15 for the vertical panels and the mini for difficult spots. I really want the Nano for interiors, wheels, mirror housings, and all the places I couldn`t get to before. I would love to have both the short and long neck versions, but that is crazy money. I am glad I waited until they worked the bugs out of the long neck version though. I hope I get the new and improved version.

What issues have the long neck have?
Only issues I had was
Cosmetic flaw
Battery charger not recognizing charged battery to switch to green light
Velcro to backing plate seperation..
