Should I? Would you?

You can come over and help me clean and organize my garage.... Who knows, you might wind up with a Ron Mystery Box
Ron if I came over there I`d end up with a long trailer, a large palm tree, and a police pursuit, lol

Just be careful Brandt.
If Ron gives you a mystery box it may have Reload hidden in it.
Then you`ll get fined for littering too.
Haha

512Detail- If it has readily discernable marring I`d correct that. But after it`s OK....

I like to play with products...

Heh heh, you crazy Autopian you....no idea what to recommend in that case :o

Don`t forget, Blackfire Blackice wax is on sale over on AG. Looks great on black.

Its only noticeable under my lights and direct sun as car is just the 1yr old pblv1 now, which I have slightly marred, possibly by applying/removing so much wax or my whiskey midnight rw`s over the year, lol

No telling

A test spot of essence on rupes yellow pad got me back to autopia level, but not sure if I really wanna lose the coating just yet as its my sacrificial layer on my 2009 paint.

I would coat it I like to play with products as well but I now enjoy my clean easy to maintain finish and I spend my time thinking about what I use in about 18-24 months.

Essence via gloss pad speed3 either filled the slight marring...or most likely shaved off the marred coating to reveal and fill the paint I had spent three days polishing a year ago..it looks Gooood now :)

512Detail- It sure *does* look good, and those metallic blacks can be tricky (at least for *me*) to get nice by Autopian Standards.

512Detail- Do you want to emphasize or diminish the Metallic Effect? You want depth or shine? I went back and forth and settled on "bright metallic" since that`s what the oh-so-durable FK1000P delivered and while it took a while for me to like it I`ve never had *anything* generate so many compliments from complete strangers, and that was on an old Yukon, not one of my Real Vehicles!

those a great questions....and similar to the ones I have pondered

right now its just Bright shine

I plan to add some nuba later on (once I get my fusion spray in) and see how that looks

I like the bright glassy shine but I also like the mile high depth from a good `nuba

512Detail- Noting that I don`t try a whole lot of LSPs compared to some guys, IME it`s tricky to have the depth without diminishing the metallic effect.

Honestly, the FK look that I thought I hated *REALLY* did grow on me to the point where I loved it, and no it wasn`t just because of all the compliments. For the first six months or so I actually wished I`d used the Collinite instead, but then I simply came to like the other look instead.

It`s just one of those purely subjective things, so see what works for *you* but don`t get 100% invested in your first impressions.
