Do all Waffle Weave towels get pulls

I bought Towel Pros waffle weave towels last year and a dozen more recently.
Is it common for waffle weave drying towels to get a pull once caught on an emblem or sharp edge?
I usually cut the pulled thread to prevent catching everything after getting one.
I try to stay away from known sharp or catchy things but still manage to snag things here and there.

Whew. .thought it was me somehow.
@dcjredline (SS).... also tried the Meguiars D155 Last Touch while drying and read all the other ways I can use it.
I`ll be getting me a gallon on my next order. What a shine.

Yeah I bought a pretty crappy one from Pep Boys I still use. Every time the thing touches an emblem it pulls out a lot... I have a small Guzzler that doesn`t do that because its not a threaded waffle weave. I have a few Supreme 530 giant towels coming in the mail. Ill do a write up on those and toss out my ripped up blue one.

Love me some LT! There are so many things that are awesome to use as drying aids. I always have to take a second and decide between D156, D155, Opti-seal, and Aquawax.

I firmly believe Chevy Bowties are designed to grab WW`s. (The fact that Waffle Weaves didn`t even exist when the bowtie was created is irrelevant)
Now for some reason my "dry-me-a-river" and Adams great white don`t pull anywhere near as bad as my regular waterless wash style weaves.
Just got some pluffles a few weeks ago and so far so good but I`m pretty leary around emlems now so that might factor in.

Now I don`t have a bowtie on my hood but out of perhaps 20 green Guzzlers, I only have one that has done that. I too cut it off.

I almost got a big guzzler but bought big 520s instead. Because they are supposed to be $20 each but on sale for $10 or $15 for three pack. Of coarse I smashed the buy button on the 3 pack.

Fwiw I have stopped using the blue ww I used to buy from Rob at TP. I noticed my cobra ww snag less, but i guess snagging just happens

I even snagged the terry loop of my small pfm towel on the 6.1 hemi logo on my hood a few weeks ago, and its not even WW

YES. Nature of the beast. My sonus and RC Dry me a river do. You have to blot around emblems. But they can be fixed. Grad a pair of sissors and carefully cut the loose strands off. Good as new.

Yes to every one.

I wont buy WW anymore, many far superior options. Currently using the Uber drying towels for past few years very successfully.

Same experience here with my TRC Premium WW towels.

The Griot`s PFM towels snag very easily also.

Just have to deal with it I guess... Never thought about blotting around emblems so thanks for that tip!

I was given an Uber Drying Towel to try out. It`s a big, plush towel but I found it to lint quite badly. Definitely wouldn`t be my choice on glass. :)

While I`m currrently all about plush MF Drying Towels, my...?Dry Me a River?...sorry, I forget the cutesy names...from MF Madness hasn`t snagged yet, and that`s probably a new record since my other ones snagged far more readily.

Yeah Accum, Dry Me A River has not snagged on me.

It`s a different kind of WW material, sorta surprised me how well it works. I expect it to eventually become less effective (the way all my WWMFs eventually do), but for now it`s what I use for a quick drying of the glass before I start drying the paint with my plush ones.

And yeah, I too have issues with some plush MFs linting, the Walmart ones that Tom P has no problems with lint something awful for me, so much that I only use them for areas that don`t show.
