How much to charge for mobile headlight polishing with my Nano

How much should I charge for headlight polishing with my nano- 1 step with blue pad and DP AIO headlight polish - spray with OCW, P808 or something similar

I was thinking 20 a headlight or 35 for both ?

I am asking because I want to make a small flyer to put on cars at work so I can possibly make money while I`m, well, making money (at work) on my lunch break.

What do you all think?

I`m not looking to make a killing, just some money here and there and I work at a very large call center type building and there are LOTS of potential clients here.

Since you`re keeping it very simple and using an AIO with a cordless tool, while on a location you are already at... I`d say that`s a good price since you can knock them out in less than 30min using that(generally I`d assume). That`s an easy $100+ in less than an hr. If you do 3 sets or more.

I also was wondering this. When I get a Rupes mini and or nano do you just polish me or sand then polish? I was thinking $50 for a set

How many times have you done 1 headlight ?

I mentioned the $35 is good, but I agree with Mr.Slick , i`d personally prefer to do $50 . Gotta make it hurt a little bit and not give it away.

none but im an insurance adjuster and i see cars with one good headlight on a daily basis so its always an option

but technically, Mary, I do them one at a time, so I guess I could be a smartarse and say I always do One headlight, then the other :P

I am not sure the nano is the right tool. I personally like the forced rotation of a flex although I did it with a pc before I had the flex. It takes longer. I have done headlights and some that were not too bad took me an hour start to finish. Figure tape time polish and coating. I would charge no less than 15o bucks. That`s said. I`ve done more free detailing and defect removal for friends than I care to admit publicly.

you`re preaching to the choir here- lol

and yeah I`d rather use my Mini but this is Just for this specific task- making more money while at work

I think I`m going to advertise 40 for both headlights (since there is an ATM on site here and it gives twenties of course)

Sometimes it scares me how much we have in common. It`s like I`m reading myself post some things. Social Scientist? check. Insurance Adjuster? Check.
there were some other ones that stood out, but I forgot them already. Forgetful? Check.

you got me on the marriage check

lol

i cant find a woman the good kind of crazy enough to put up with my purchasing habits (some get jealous- and don`t understand that I work my ass off to be where I am today)

Like the idea but ditch the flyer on the car thing. Hand them a business card, pull tab flyer on the bulletin board, send them an email anything but windshield flyers. After we had words I`d avoid you like the plague if you were to put parking lot litter on my vehicle.

It looks like those nano pads are about $9 on autoogeek..... Have any idea what the longevity is on each? I think for me that machine would take a while to pay its self off...

Good point...no flyer
I`ll just leave a card.

I think this will be fine until you run into a really hard headlight housing (Porsche) or something severely damaged. I just think it would take to long the the nano.
