Tail of the Dragon & surrounding roads

nice .. but i got a question .. other than the views, how do these winding roads differ than the roads between Lime Rock and Torrington? ... the north east is filled with winding mountain roads??

Angle of attack
dips in the middle of curves
very few guard rails
angle of incline and descent
more idiots per mile trying to prove something
catch a wheel off the side of pavement and you`re finished

Man your car looks so BADASS Ron!

I like picture 20 the best. Looks like the car will eat you alive.

Pics 21 and 22 are next.

Thanks Mark.

I like those too. They guys on the side have it down to a science I think. (on what shots to take)

I love the idiots trying to prove something. Every single time we would do a forest bike ride we had a few of these, and as soon as they would fly by us I knew I was going to see at least one of them with their bike in a ditch....sure enough a mile down the road or so ,there they were ,with a crushed ego and full of embarrassment trying to get their ride out of a ditch.

Yep, one did end up wiped out. I was also afraid since there is no visibility that one would smack into the back of me. Some of these guys were flying, but at least you could hear em coming.
