I had the honor of seeing a private collection of some fantastic cars...and a broad spectrum of them as well!

Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures. I hope he employs 2 full time detailers. It would be a big job keeping those beauties to Autopian standards.
 
Wow! I can`t get over the debth of this fantastic collection. And it`s all owned by a single owner?
 
That is one hell of a collection! How many cars total? That would be an awesome job just to be the caretaker of those cars, let alone own them. Thanks for sharing the cool pics.

one owner. Private collection. Approximately 130 vehicles. He has a handful of staff/caretakers. Most of them are in need of a `proper` detailing/correction.

The he best thing is that he drives the them. Even the race cars get trailered to a track to be exercised!! He will take a few out every month.

I`ve always felt that is the single most important thing, pretty awesome collection and glad to hear he drives them. That white 28 Ford was pretty slick looking.

Looked like he could drive a different Porsche everyday for a month!

That an amazing collection of cars, as others have said glad to hear he actually drives and enjoys them fully. Also my shot in the dark guess is 60 million dollars in cars??????????
 
Gee, that`s really something! Glad to hear they get exercised, which must be a bit of an undertaking even with the staff/caretakers.

For some reason I really like that he included the Karmann Ghia.

Wonder if it`s a collection that`ll stay in the family or eventually get broken up....

Unless it`s classified as a "museum" (lots of collectors do this for tax purposes) Estate taxes can be 30+% so it might get broken up
