What would you do The gojo wash

Well, I just got a call from a coworker.
His girlfriend drove through highway paint and had it all over the side of a dark metallic blue truck.
His removal method:
A brush and Gojo.
Not the slick gojo but the gritty stuff.
I told him to bring it over my place since I have no idea how scratched it is now.
I have a 21,15 mini and rotary (not experienced enough to use that)
All the Rupes polishes/pads
Poorboys everything ( including master cut).
Ult polish & compound
Even have Optimum spray hyper polish and HD polish.

Where do I start if this thing is really swirled/scratched?

I`ll see If he can get a pic for me.

Does anyone know what "grit" Gojo is?!?!?

My guess is that you will need a compound but i would wait to see it and test first.

Shawn -

Too bad someone made a bad choice - but good for you to be able to fix it !

The Poor Boy`s World compound or the Meguiars Ultimate, if it looks really scratched, with the heaviest cutting pad...
Here is where Rotary Power will take that down quickly with not muss or fuss.. But another time...

When you see what it looks like after you clean it and look at it in the sun or good lighting, you will have a better idea..
Would absolutely rock if you could take it all off with something like Optimum Hyper-Polish...that stuff is really good too...
Good Luck ! You got this !!!

I asked him. It will have to wait until I get it.
He said its swirl city in the sun.
He`s going away so I may wait a week. I was asked to bring the stuff to work sat but that ain`t happening. I don`t know what I`ll need so it`s gotta come to me.
I could try the rotary with my vc pads but I`ll have polish everywhere.

Shawn, try white VC pad, pb SSR 2 or 2.5. try with the r.o. polisher first. If not, go orange pad and same Polish. If not, then go to master cut and white pad. If not, try the rotary.

Here are 2 photos of the truck . Not the greatest pics but was told the whole side is swirled.
I will be getting it next weekend. Hopefully TPR is up for the challenge too.
