Nice work, were you able to do any type of polishing in that "super bee" area? I always wonder if there are any tips for areas like that (especially the decals on the Ford Raptors)

Can`t polish it...

I used Celeste dettaglio matte....

Been testing some vinyl samples for over 3 months...finally got the application, cure or lack thereof and subsequent addition layer with double haze time necessary to smooth over the marks the first coat of celeste leaves Every time. Then I did it again.

But I added a Ron approved ;) chilled Spray and gloss wipedown after each coat. Looks phenomenal in person. Seriously.

Sorry,I didn`t specify, I meant the orange painted surfaces within the decal letters.

The matte vinyl approach was a good tip as well ,thanks.

Ahhh gotcha! Looked like paint from a distance, well that`s awesome then cause I was wondering what a pain it`d be to try to polish those smaller spaces.

Oh trust me I was estatic to see that was a round sticker!

Excellent work!

Prime example of the importance of a paint gauge. Even though I don`t detail for a living, only for people that hear about me, I bought one. You just never know the paint history. I know on this job you are glad you made the investment. Plus I think it also sets you apart in the clients eyes.

Awesome work, Brandt !

Glad you took my advice and had the car hidden from the Client and then opened the door and they got to see it all at once, lights blazing, nothing else detracting them from the experience...

I have always done this and it never fails to get a positive response from the Client.. Besides, they need to see their Baby looking its best now and again...

Don`t forget to always spray something in the fenderwell area, so it is nice and black, and matches the rest of the clean, black tire in the fender..
I have found that Meguiars Hyper Dressing works great, smells wonderful, but does not last very long..
Chemical Guys Back to Black Spray Can works really well, lasts a long time, but is pricey unless you can find it on sale or elsewhere...
They also make a product called Bare Bones that works well, but is like spraying a light oil type product.. It does not hurt anything and dries black, nice and satiny..
Griot`s makes a nice spray-able product called Under Carriage Spray that is a lot like Bare Bones..

You Killed It !!!

I`m surprised there are not more write ups/reviews of the Rupes Nano. Looks like you got some good use out of it on that Mopar. Beautiful work. I really have to try Ron`s "chilled QD spritzer":)

Wow! Beautiful. Now that you have had some experience with the Nano are you happy with the long neck version or would the short neck allow you to get into tighter spaces?

I couldn`t imagine the neck being shorter as beneficial in anything I have done with it yet.

I actually think the long neck is more versitle at getting into areas on the front end of vehicles like shown in the pics
