Purchased a new 15' Mazda 6 GT w/ Tech Package last week.

Dealer never washed it or detailed it by request and I actually got to watch them peel the stickers off the hood & rear of the car.

Friday morning I began the detailing & decontamination process.

Coated Exterior Trim w/ CarPro Dlux

This was my very 1st experience using a machine polisher and coating.
Not too shabby if I do say so myself B)

Looks great! I did a Mazda 3 sedan last weekend. They are making some really great cars right now.

turned out very nice, especially on white. its all in the prep and a good polisher really helps make a big difference. :bigups

Here's a reflection shot from the other day….. and then another shot from today after it rained for a few minutes.

Loving the coating.

Very nice job! I'm loving Gloss Coat. Awesome slickness and shine, and the easiest coating to apply by far!

Thank You 52 split…. yea, I'm really loving the Opti Gloss Coating too.

Since applying it, the very first thing I noticed is that it sheds dust like crazy.

When I used to apply sealants and/or waxes, my car would literally be covered in a thin blanket of dust within hours.

Not anymore…. :)

Going to be doing the same thing I did to my car last weekend to my wife's car tomorrow tomorrow.

I'll be sure to post some pics!

Hmm. That's a good thing for me to know living in New Mexico with two black cars...

Yeah, I am a CarPro junkie...I own A LOT of their products and will continue to purchase some in the near future (their new Rinseless and Leather coating have my eye), but Gloss Coat gets my vote over CQuartz UK. Just my $.02

Looks like I`m going to have to purchase another syringe of Optimum Gloss Coat!

Car is currently in the shop :(

And.....For what it`s worth........ I was still getting tight water beading after 16 long desert months!!!

Dang hope everyone is ok. What happened?

Dodged a Coyote on an old dirt road .... :-/

So, Finally got my Mz6 back this week.... new front end, fog lights, lower grill, front wheel well, two new wheels and two new tires since they were scuffed up pretty bad and also got the new windshield installed!

They did a pretty decent job with the color match for my paint. I`m impressed....

Told them I didn`t want them to wash my car after they were done with the repair work and he looked puzzled...lmao.

So before I start driving my car around everywhere and risk anything happening to the paint, I decided to take advantage of the great weather we are having here and polished out all the new painted sections and even re polished out the hood, roof and trunk and then recoated the paint using Optimum Gloss Coat again.

Even though I was still getting some water beading after 17 months from the last coat, I felt it was a good time to just re-do the necessary parts of the car since summer is around the corner.

I also recoated all the trim and wheels w/ C-Quartz DLUX since I had a new bottle still from last year.

Today, I`m driving down to get my new windshield tinted .............and just got done re-ordering the chrome trim for my new fog lights.

Pics soon to come!
