Yep a friends... They say its only like 6" longer that the Tahoe, but mine didnt feel that big.

Nice job .. and why do you take on these jobs?

The roof problem is a form of mold and will come off with full strength APC soaked on like we did in Lime Rock with the sap ..

we used to get this every year on the vans roof too ....

..and yes ,,you old ..and will always be older than me :D
 
It looks like a cluster of artillery fungus - they love to latch onto white colored paintwork more than any other color...
Harder to remove if it really is, but they do come off..
All else fails, I have removed them with Goof Off Pro in the little metal can at H/D and a zillion Q-tips...
And I have never hurt paintwork doing it this way - long or short term...

It was a friends truck, so......

I originally thought it was mold..... Used apc, BS, nothing, clay didnt touch it, pro polish didnt either. Hes a tailgater, there is a tv in the back that folds down to see out. That is where the magnetic mount antenna goes, so IMHO its worn off paint.
 
Oh wow - too bad he is wearing/worn down the paint there..
Get a little piece of clear bra vinyl on there to stop the metal-to-metal contact...
And sometime, fix that good as new...

it probably wont budge unless its left to soak in a towel for a while ... it really is stubborn stuff ...

Did you use the small Rupes (75E) to get into the tight areas?
Was this the platform for your new Rupes MKII, or with the trusty Flex?

Flex and Mini

15 is still in box inside house, I was outside. :(

If I came in, that would have been the end. It was that hot, and Im that old.
