Order issue (not with Autopia)

Hey Guys,
Well i don't post much but i do lurk around quite a bit. I'm a little stumped so looking for a little info from you guys.

Im not new to detailing but I'm new to ordering stuff online. I've only ordered once from a place out in FL.

I ended up ordering from chemical guys due to the fact that i was trying to find a certain brush, so that's why i went with them. I placed my order Wednesday march 16th. I received an email showing the invoice, and a thank you for being a first time customer with them. It stated my items will be shipped out in 1-3 business days. Well its the 22nd and still haven't received the email stating the items shipped, nor was the money taken out of the account.

Sent them an email and i was told since there was a suspicion of fraud that i would have to fax them or email them a copy of my licence and signature. then once they receive that, my items will be shipped out 1-3 business days.

i sent an email asking how long would it have been if i didn't email, for them to let me know about all this, and asked what gave them the suspicion that its a fraud alert, but still have got no reply.

Has anyone else had issues ordering from them? Should i just not bother with them, cause to me it seems like a hassle. just wanna know what you guys think since I'm new to ordering detailing stuff online.

If there is someone that is from autopia store that i can get a hold of about what im trying to order let me know, i just didnt place my order originally from this store because i couldn't find a certain item.

Dispute the first charge with your credit card company. As for assistance here, PM Vega or Paul
 
Which brush is it you are wanting to buy ?
Send us a pic, we can probably help you find the same one elsewhere...

I only purchase a couple of things from them - ever - and I cringe when I have to do it... ( C/G Citrus Wash, and Back to Black)...

I agree with the above, get it removed from your credit card..

I've ordered from them twice....the first order...the customer service was terrible....the second order.....it was better....their products are just 'okay'...nothing special....but they do a good job of marketing them. Now that I've discovered several detailing forums, and gotten to read reviews of other manufacturers, I'll be ordering from them on a very limited basis.
 
Of the very few CG products I use - there's no way I'd ever order directly from them. Way to many CG customer service issues.

Thanks for the input guys. i Guess i should of asked before i tried going through with it. on the plus side it was never taken off my card since i didn't "verify" myself.
